It’s been a long and cold winter. Too cold.. and too much snow, so we went away and hid in our house. That accounted for our absence. S on the other hand, went back to Singapore and had the sun, the food…..
She even met up with Aunty A and Aunty V.. and Eddy.. and all my friends!! How could she????
And that’s not all, she further abandoned us and went skiing!
How evil of her!
Imagine!!
She even saw skiing austrian cows!
Luckily we could go and stay with Mokka and Boelie, so that was fun.
And now, we are really glad that winter is ending and spring is coming. The signs are all here..
The weather’s getting warmer…. the geese and ducks are wandering all around, being very lustful.
All the bulbs are peeking out..
And the sun is out!
The biggest sign is when S bring out all of our toys and baskets out in to the sun. It’s time to spring clean our stuff (after hibernating in our baskets for winter).
Look at the pathetic state of our toys..
and the worst part is that Robin has taken up hogging of my toys.
It’s time to get new ones!

Firstly, I’m looking at doggy beds… both for myself and for Robin.. There’s such a huge selection!!
It’s not easy to get pretty and colourful beds that are big enough for us.. but i’m really interested in this, Crypton Doodle Dog Bed, designed by William Wegman… the guy famous for his Weimaraners pictures!
Isn’t it too cute? I can get the orange one.. and Robin can get the blue one.
i would also want some more toys!
The tough toys seems awesome too. Think that they will last longer then my Pepper and Carrot?

For a moment, I thought that we were back in Singapore, doing the dog hash.. For there was this huge turnout of dogs, we get to run loose.. and everything! But there was no beer though! I know.. it’s so shocking to hear that.. one of the largest beer producers in the world.. and not single drop of beer was served? No wonder H was grumpy! (no he wasn’t…!)
So, how many dogs are there?? You have to count.. if you can count!
They look like twins.. and reminded me of Kaiser! So fluffy and white!
There was even a special dog with wheels!
Figured out who is the odd one out yet?
Hahahaa! this was not the dog hash, rather is was the border collie 6th annual wanderling. It was amazing to see over 100 bcs at the same place! and most where black and white.. but you have got merle, chocolate.. even a lilac one! It was so much fun!
Held at the where we were previously in summer, at the Loonse en Drunense Duinen. It is such a beautiful national reserve!
There was even a watering hole.. my favorite! But i wasn’t so keen on going in because there is still ice in there!
The best part is that there are parts that dogs can be loose, but other parts we had to be on leash. But it really doesn’t matter.
That’s us and where the painting is hanging on, once you walk through the doors.
Homer got jealous and demanded to his daddy that he wanted a painting.. and soon enough, he got himself painted too.

And speaking of that, Robin has been pracitising his posing skills, just for the perfect photo for Aimée to paint.
Now don’t let his face fool you. You might think that he’s all so lovable and such, and that i bully him all the time.. but that is furthest from the truth.
See, we always go outside our house to play frisbee. Me being the frisbee expert will run and jump and basically do anything i can to catch the frisbee.
First, you have to be very very alert and watch the frisbee..
Then you have to jump for it..
And catch it in your mouth!
Does Robin do that? NNNNNnooooooooOOOO!
He tries to look alert… (see me behind all ready to run?)
Instead of running for the frisbee, he just runs around.. everywhere!
And naturally, by that time, i would have gotten the frisbee already…
And you will see what happens next!

Today was such a brilliant day. I never had so much fun wit Squido on the ice. Word of caution before you read on.
Squido now has lost both his legs. From this

this! The worst part is.. Squido lost his foot to a Squido eating machine!!! Guess who ate Squido?? The Guilty individual is in the photo!! Need more hints?
