A Tale of Mari and Three Puppies

Though this is quite a old movie, we just found out about it and watch it online. You can watch it online here.
This was based on a real story that happened in Japan during the 2004 Niigata earthquake. Mari just had 3 puppies on the day the earthquake occured. When the earthquake occured, the grandfather of the house was trapped in the rumble, and she went to search for the owners and found him. However, she and her puppies had to be left behind when the whole area had to be evacuted.
I am happy to say that after the are was opened up, Mari was found thin, but safe with her 3 puppies.
The puppies went on to be adopted. There was even a fireworks display honouring Mari and her story was shared with everyone.
How cool is that?
