Boars and more!

And so we took a trip to Veluwe. We had to sit in the car for some time.. and well.. time passes pretty quickly when you have things to do. Like disturbing the front seat passenger and driver, food to eat and scenery to see.

Pretty soon, we reached the National Park of Hoge Veluwe, it is a huge place where you can go walking for hours and hours.. the best part was within minutes of us getting down from the car, we saw wild boars! Live and real. Robin was the first one to see them.. but they ran away pretty fast! Wanna see how they look like?

Exactly like the wild boars in the Asterix and Obelix books.

And seems that they are really popular in Veluwe.. you can find statues of them everywhere!

Even in the Kröller-Müller Museum.

Be careful when you go inside the museum though.. Don’t get caught peeing on the wrong tree.. cos some are not meant to be peed on at all, no matter how realistic it looks.

This was the hotel we stayed in..

it has lovely rooms..

The best part was just outside the hotel, was a lovely place that we could walk in!

And you know what we sniffed out???

Guess who was so happy that he leaped for joy?

He thought that we’d be having wild boar for dinner.. but seems that there wasn’t enough meat for us.

Guess we’d have to hunt them down ourselves.
