This was what we were waiting for the past 9 months.

Our visa to Netherlands. It seems that we have waited for it. All the papers and documents to process.
And now that we have gotten it, S and I are all set to move to join H and Robin in Netherlands at the end of this month. Not before doing the following though.
Rabies shot – Done in July 2008
Crate – Bought and prepared
Airline seats – Confirmed
Export permit from AVA – Done
Vet’s health check and certification – Appointment set
Am i missing anything?
It’s great that Netherlands doesn’t need to quarantine dogs from Singapore.. and I’m able to be a ‘excess baggage’ item on the same flight as S. So after a 13 hr flight.. we’d be in Netherlands! i heard that it’d be all dark in the hold and the temperature will range from 4 – 17 Degree Celsius!! Thank goodness for my fur coat. To think that someone suggested shaving me so as to reduce my weight. BTW, my airticket cost €30 per kg of me.
That’s why i was on a diet!!!
See you all in Keukenhof (which allows dogs on leash!). I can’t wait to see all the tulip gardens in full bloom!

The other Homer ‘s mom is from Singapore and he lives in Rotterdam; you probably already know them. http://homergoldenretriever.blogspot.com/ Homer’s mom is from Singapore and he used to live there too. I bet you’ll miss the Long bar at the raffles most of all and those fabulous Singapore Slings that our dad is always talking about. We bet you are all excited. Homer loves The Netherlands; you can be hans brinker in the winter time. You’ll get to play in SNOW. We look forward to your move reports.
